Hello

I'm Xin Rong

A UX designer who is passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences that solve problems and exceed expectations.

Drawing from my experience as an Assistant General Manager in pest control management and my background in biotechnology, I bring effective management, problem-solving, scientific thinking, and analytical skills to human-centred design.

Transition to UX Design

While I enjoyed my work, I was always drawn to the creative side of problem-solving. That's when I discovered UX design and realised that it offered the perfect balance between my analytical skills and my passion for design.

I completed General Assembly's UX Design Immersive course. During this program, I gained practical experience in user research, design thinking, and prototyping. This course allowed me to realise that UX design was an excellent fit for my skills and interests, and I'm thrilled to contribute my unique perspective and abilities to the industry.

Outside of Work

I enjoy exploring various creative pursuits. One of my favourite hobbies is making handicrafts such as card-making, pottery, and punch needle.

I also have a bit of a guilty pleasure in indulging my love for murder documentaries and dramas.

Ginger Naicha, my independent and self-assured cat who thinks he rules the neighbourhood.
